Port infrastructure
Linkspans are our core products, as an element of port infrastructure, used to service vehicles entering ships or roll-on / roll-off (RO-RO) ferries, in particular to eliminate tidal changes in the water level.
Linkspans are typically located in ferry terminals where a ship uses a combination of stern, bow or side ramps to load or unload cars, trucks, buses, railroad cars, and other types of heavy vehicles.
Projects realized by Vogen had their own weight from several to over 700 tons and are based on innovative design solutions, including:
- Two levels,
- Multi corridor,
- multitasking,
- movable in two / three directions,
- with manual control as well as fully automated,
- serving various types of vessels, both the old type and the most modern ones.
